Dance Auditions 2023

Let's Bollywood Dance School is now inviting Kids outside of it's current student community to Audition for being part of our Competition batch 2023! (past students are welcome too)

​

When: Saturday, 25th March 4 - 6 pm

Where: Wavell Heights Community Hall, 76 Cressey Street, Wavell Heights.

Age categories: Juniors (ages 5 - 9) and Intermediates (ages 10-15)

Application Deadline: EoD 19th March 2023

Application Fees: $15 per application

Audition Process: Applicants will need to perform a 1-3 min solo Dance piece on Audition Day, in front of a panel of judges. They can choose to dance on any style, including Bollywood, Classical or Contemporary styles. Selection will be based on Dancer's technic, style, confidence and expressions. Judges decision will be final. More details about the Audition will be emailed to you upon application.

About Competition Batch:

Since 2019, Let's Bollywood Dance School has been entering into various Multi-disciplinary Dance Competitions, representing Bollywood Dance in Brisbane. Our intention is to place Bollywood Dance into mainstream dancing styles, as well as to give the most talented Bollywood Dancing Kids of Brisbane, an opportunity to take up an extra challenge and dance with other equally gifted dancer of Brisbane. 

Some of the competitions we have entered in past and won lots of awards and accolades are Brisbane Eisteddfod, Sunshine Coast Eisteddfod, Dance Life Unite, Brisbane Performing Arts Challenge (BPAC) and Future Stars Competition. This year as well, we will be training our two teams for BPAC, Future Stars Competition and Gold Coast Eisteddfod.

Competition Batch Commitments: 

With opportunity comes commitment. To be a part of Let's Bollywood Dance School's Competition batch, you have to make two main commitments:

​

1) Attend weekly training: Competition batch 2023 will be training every Sunday, 4 - 6 pm, starting 16th April - 18th June at Perry Lane Studio, 430 Ann Street, Brisbane City. These sessions are compulsory.

2) Participate in competition events: This year each group will compete at 2 events, between June and Aug. Exact competition dates will be announced soon. Participating in both events is compulsory.

Fees: Competition batch fees includes the Weekly training Fees + Costume Hire + Competition Entry Fees. Exact Fees amount will be emailed to you, upon application.
